S.A.M.’s “I Got Mine” membership drive proved so successful last year that it is being repeated. Chapter presidents and vice-presidents of membership will soon be receiving an information package on the program.
The program encourages S.A.M. members to get involved in membership recruitment by presenting each individual who succeeds in signing up a new member with a free AMACOM book of his or her choice.
A white and red “I Got Mine” button is also given. The button can be worn to S.A.M. meetings and is a reminder that every member should pitch in to help boost membership in accordance with one of the goals of the five-year program.
The chapter that brings in the most new members will be presented with an award at the 1981 National Management Conference, scheduled to be held in Williamsburg in April. The winning chapter will be decided using a percentage basis so that each chapter will have an equal chance to win. SAM-NI
