The programming committee for the 78th Annual SAM International Business Conference is pleased to announce the presentation The Future of the Auto Industry: Innovation and Sustainability featuring Henry Johnson, Robert Kennedy, and Jessica Kenyon from the New England Institute of Technology.
Presentation Abstract: In August, the California Air Resources Board adopted the Advanced Clean Cars II rule. This rule establishes a year-by-year plan so that by 2035, 100% of new cars and light trucks sold in California will be zero-emission vehicles. This goal of this rule is to achieve cleaner air and massive reductions in climate-warming pollution.
Please join this keynote panel session as Professor Robert Kennedy and Instructor Chris Kenyon are joined by moderator Henry “Hank” Johnson as they discuss the current state of the automotive industry, what this new rule means for its future, and if the timetable is realistic.
