The Society for Advancement of Management (SAM) has announced the winners of the Undergraduate Division of the Business Knowledge Bowl, held during the International Collegiate Business Skills Championships at the 81st SAM International Business Conference.
The Business Knowledge Bowl challenges students across a wide range of topics, including business fundamentals, current events, and pop culture. The competition is designed to test both knowledge and performance through a multi-stage format.
Participants begin with a 100-question qualifying exam, competing to become their institution’s top performer and advance to the semifinal rounds. From there, top competitors enter a bracket-style tournament, where they compete in a live, trivia-based format that requires quick thinking and precise execution.
The Undergraduate Division showcases students who demonstrate strong academic preparation alongside the ability to perform under pressure in a competitive setting.
Undergraduate Division Winners:

First Place: Gil Rathman, Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania Second Place: Xavier Blodget, Georgia Southwestern State University Third Place: Samuel Bean, Tennessee Tech
“These students demonstrated a strong ability to apply knowledge in real time,” said Patrick Endicott, Executive Director of the Society for Advancement of Management and host of the Business Knowledge Bowl. “The Undergraduate Division continues to highlight students who are prepared to think, respond, and perform in competitive environments.”
As part of the broader SAM International Business Conference, the Business Knowledge Bowl provides students with a platform to demonstrate applied knowledge and develop skills that translate directly into professional environments.
