Promotional conference slide showing a semi-realistic illustration of a professional workshop setting where a facilitator presents to a group seated around a table using laptops. A glowing, circular digital interface surrounds a humanoid AI figure and interconnected icons representing career guidance, analytics, and professional development platforms. The visual suggests human–AI collaboration, technology-enabled coaching, and enhanced career development within a modern organizational environment.

Career and professional development services are undergoing a rapid transformation as artificial intelligence reshapes how individuals explore careers, build skills, and receive guidance. Traditional advising models, often constrained by time, staffing, and scalability, struggle to meet the growing and diverse needs of students and professionals. This accepted workshop examines how AI powered platforms are expanding access, personalization, and effectiveness in career and professional development.

Led by Dr. Suj Chandrasekhar, President of Strategic Insights Inc., the session centers on a live demonstration of The Career Ninja, an AI powered platform designed to support career counseling, coaching, and professional development at scale. Drawing on research findings from academic institutions as well as private and public sector organizations, the workshop highlights measurable improvements in engagement, career readiness, and ongoing professional growth when AI enabled tools are integrated into career services.

Rather than positioning AI as a replacement for human advisors, the workshop frames AI powered platforms as force multipliers that enhance coaching capacity, provide real time insights, and support more consistent, data informed guidance. Participants will explore how AI coaches can assist with career exploration, skills assessment, goal setting, and continuous development while freeing professionals to focus on higher value, relationship driven support.

Designed as an interactive, hands on experience, attendees will have the option to access the platform during the session using their own devices. The workshop encourages active participation, reflection, and dialogue around ethical use, accessibility, and the future role of technology in career services.

This session is especially relevant for career services professionals, educators, organizational leaders, and practitioners interested in leveraging technology to improve career readiness, employability skills, and lifelong professional development.
