The SAM International Business Conference is one of the highlights of our year, bringing together thought leaders, educators, students, and professionals to share ideas, learn from one another, and explore the future of management. The Conference Programming Committee is the driving force behind making this event a meaningful and memorable experience. If you enjoy planning, collaboration, and creative problem-solving, this is your chance to help design one of SAM’s most important events.
As a member of the Conference Programming Committee, you will help shape the conference agenda from start to finish. This includes identifying key themes, selecting speakers, reviewing session proposals, and ensuring that our programming reflects the diverse interests of our community. Your input will help create a balance between academic research, professional development, and practical applications that attendees can take back to their organizations.
The committee’s work is highly collaborative. You will work closely with other members to evaluate submissions, develop innovative session formats, and find ways to increase audience engagement. You will also coordinate with the Membership and Marketing Committee to promote the conference and reach a broad audience of potential attendees.
Serving on the Conference Programming Committee is more than just planning an event. It is about curating an experience that inspires, educates, and builds lasting connections. You will have the opportunity to help create moments that spark new ideas, foster collaboration, and leave attendees feeling motivated to apply what they have learned.
This role also offers valuable professional development. You will gain insights into event planning, program design, and audience engagement strategies. You will build relationships with leaders and experts in the management field while helping deliver an event that reflects SAM’s commitment to excellence and innovation.
Nominations are now open, and we invite members who have a passion for organizing impactful events to join the Conference Programming Committee. Together, we can design a conference that not only informs but also inspires every attendee.
