Presentation Abstract: Little research existed in the field of domestic intercultural competencies to defeat political violence by enhancing counter-insurgency operations within the United States. The focus of this exploratory research is on theory development within academia, that supports Law Enforcement Agencies (LEA) using military cultural training. This exploratory research investigates whether intercultural competencies, combined with special operations training, can help stop the violence that has been occurring throughout major American cities.
