The programming committee for the 77th Annual SAM International Business Conference is pleased to announce the acceptance of the presentation The Age of the Employee, by Hannah Lare, Jessica Gacsi, and Madison Scheide of Bloomsburg University.
Presentation Abstract: This is a conceptual paper about how the pandemic altered how companies conduct business, its effect on the employees, and what employers should be doing to improve the work environment. We provide insight into telecommuting in 2022, two years after the initial launch of the worldwide lockdown due to COVID-19. This includes providing ways for management to give back emotionally, such as employee engagement incentives and financially like, home office stipends to their employees after businesses have altered to rely on employees to work remotely.
