This year at SAMIBC2020 we are pleased to announce another of our presenters, Marc Sollosy from Marshall University. Marc will be presenting the paper Artificial Intelligence and Business Education: When Worlds Collide.

Presentation Abstract: The authors seek to extend the discussion on what is the role of business schools in the development and training of students to be both managers, and equally important innovators. The discussion focuses on the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI). How Artificial Intelligence should be presented within the context of management education.

Given that any particular tool will be idiosyncratic to an organization, the real role is to teach and train the student in the interpretation and utilization of the output from these systems and technologies. In order to accomplish this, business education needs to focus on the development of the critical thinking and analytical capabilities of students in a cross disciplinary environment. For it is with these skills that the greatest marketability is achieved.

Join us in Nashville, Tennessee to see this great paper and many more March 19 – 21, 2020. For registration information visit www.samnational.org/conference.
