Both of the winning chapters have active memberships of over 100. Chapters are judged for the award on the basis of how well they meet their year’s goals, which are listed in the chapter’s operating plan. They are also judged on their performance in such areas as adm1n1stration, programming, membership development, publicity, community involvement, and interaction with local student chapters. All senior chapters are eligible to enter the award competition.

Each winning chapter will be presented with a banner in its honor at a special award ceremony at the National Management Conference. Profiles on the Philadelphia and Los Angeles chapters will appear in the next issue of News International. SAM-NI
