This past November a new campus chapter was chartered at Oueensborough Community College in Bayside, New York. Mary Morris, assistant to the executive director and campus coordinator of S.A.M. in New York, made the charter presentation.
Speaking about S.A.M.’s success on campus, President Maynard Munroe said, “Our chapter has been able to attract quality people. Many already involved in clubs and services on campus have come together to promote the science of management.”

In only a month the chapter was able to draw 60 new members, and it plans to double that figure by the end of the semester through ads in the college newspaper and commercials on the radio. This semester, in line with its theme “psychology in business,” the Oueensborough campus chapter has featured speakers in the area of communications and has presented the “women in management” program.
