James L. Hayes, president of the American Management Associations, will receive the Taylor Key Award,  one of the highest honors of S.A.M., in a special awards ceremony at AMA’s 47th Annual Personnel Conference to be held February 4-6 at The Palmer House in Chicago. The Taylor Key is awarded annually to a manager who makes an outstanding contribution to the advancement of the art and science of management as conceived by Frederick W. Taylor.
