Admiral Elmo R. Zumwalt, Jr., USN (retired), former chief of naval operations, addressed the Orange Coast chapter of S.A.M. on October 16. In his speech, Admiral Zumwalt discussed the management styles of recent U.S. Presidents, from Truman to Ford, and reviewed the reasons for their successes and failures. The controversial and often-decorated former naval officer is currently running for the U.S. Senate from the state of Virginia. SAM-NI
